Brighton & Hove MENCAP

We are a self help group consisting of parents, people with learning difficulties, carers friends, brothers and sisters and other family members. We are a campaigning force and we try and help them get the services they need to have a better way of life. We help them get an annual holiday, leisure days out, attend social clubs and swimming clubs. We give cash grants which helps pay for holidays for children and parents, which gives respite care to parents.

DELTA is a disabled club in Lewes – We come under ESDA – is for all people with disability. We meet and have outings on most Thursdays in the month.

 

Epilepsy Action – Brighton and Hove Branch

Brighton & Hove Branch of Epilepsy Action offers support and advice for people with epilepsy their friends, families and the professionals who work with them. We meet monthly at Community Base, Queens Road on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for support and with some invited speakers.
