  • Getting There / Parking: Strada is at Brighton Marina, to the east of the city. It is on the boardwalk, overlooking the harbour.

The multi-story car park offers free parking for the day. There are disabled parking spaces on level 6, from which a walkway takes you over to the boardwalk level. There are also disabled spaces on the ground floor.

The Marina is on several bus routes. From the bus stop (outside Macdonalds) look across the road to where a big sign directs you to a double ramp that takes you up to the Boardwalk level. There are also public lifts a little further on past the garage, amongst the shops, and you can use the lift in Hotel Seattle.

  • Getting In: The restaurant has 2 level access doors at the front, both opening outwards. The outer one is usually kept open, weather permitting. There is also a door at the rear with an inner door into the restaurant, both opening outwards.
  • Getting Around / Facilities: Getting around and seated at a table was OK. There is seating outside as well.

There is an accessible toilet. It is between the inner and outer doors at the rear, so tricky getting back into the restaurant. The best time to use it is on your way out! There is a Braille menu.

  • Accommodation / Rooms: Strada offers allergy friendly, vegetarian, and wheat and gluten free food. There are set menus as well as a la carte. The staff were helpful, and on seeing that I used my own special light-weight cutlery, they took it away and washed it up for me. How nice!
