  • Getting There / Parking: Pinocchio is in New Road in Brighton, a semi-pedestrianised street which is very lively, and near the Pavilion, Museum and Dome. It is about 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, rather hilly. A large number of buses stop in North Street near the end of New Road.

There are some disabled parking spaces almost next door to Pinocchio. You need to park over the metal wheelchair sign sunk into the pavement. There are more spaces in Church Street opposite the Dome, and there is an NCP car park further up Church Street in the other direction.

  • Getting In: Pinocchio has a large step, but they do have a portable ramp which they will bring for you, and help you in. It is quite narrow. You also need to get the attention of a waiter to go and fetch it from wherever it lives, which can be a bit tricky if you are on your own.
  • Getting Around / Facilities: Pinocchio is a busy place and the tables are quite close together, but I manage OK there with the help of the very friendly staff. There is an upstairs part, and also seating outside, which is good in the summer. There is a big salad bar which is on the ground floor.

There is an accessible toilet along a corridor at the back of the restaurant.

  • Additional Comments: Being near the Theatre Royal it gets very busy between 6pm and 7.45pm. and it would be wise to book for that period. There are special set menus as well as a la carte. Food is usual Italian fare and pastas and pizzas reasonably priced. The website gives lots more information including a vitual tour!
