  • There is an accessible toilet

  • Address: 116a Western Road
    Brighton
    BN1 2AB

  • Phone: 01273 328267
  • Web: www.bankersrestaurant.com
  • Opening Times: It is open 7 days a week from 11.30am to 10pm.
  • Getting There / Parking: The restaurant is on Western Road, on the corner of Norfolk Road and nearly opposite Norfolk Square. Many buses stop there.

There is an NCP car park at the bottom of Regency Square, and a private (cheaper) one in Preston Street, next to the Royal Sovereign pub. With a blue badge it is fairly easy to find parking places nearby on single and double yellow lines, where you can park for 3 hours, but avoid residents parking bays.

  • Getting In: There are 2 entrances. The one actually on Western Road is accessible, and inside a ramp leads up to the main area. The other entrance on the corner is for take-aways.
  • Getting Around / Facilities: It is fairly easy to get to a table and I found the staff helpful.

    There is an accessible toilet.

  • Additional Comments: Bankers is a traditional fish and chip restaurant, with a large selection of fish, and daily specials. It also does vegetarian meals, salads, and children's portions. It is a good place to eat if you are visiting The Old Market arts venue which is 5 minutes walk away, and you can have a meal fairly quickly if you're in a hurry to get to a performance (as I was!)
