  • Getting There / Parking: Located in the heart of Brighton, near the Jubilee Library and in the North Lanes, Las Iguanas is part of a UK chain of restaurants and bars famous for its taste of Latin America and, perhaps most importantly, the popular 2 for 1 cocktail specials.

Jubilee Street is a one-way road, going north, and parking is limited. Across the street in front of the MyHotel, approximately 30 metres south, you will find a few disabled parking spaces. Taxis can drop you off in front of the restaurant. The nearest main bus stops with all linking bus routes located at North Street, North Road, Gloucester Place and Grand Parade.

  • Getting In: There is level access.
  • Getting Around / Facilities: Most of the tables are on the main level and additional seating is up one stair. In the summer, there are some additional seats outside. The bar, to the right as you come through the double doors, has a mixture of low tables with square stools that can be rearranged, or high tables with bar chairs.

Staff are happy to help you get comfortable, should you need tables moved, etc, but be warned that it can get very busy after work so get there early if you want a seat. The bar is the place to be if you are only coming for drinks. Please note that due to licensing restrictions, you need to order a main meal should you want to sit in the restaurant.

An accessible loo is located through a separate entrance to the left of the main toilets, between the bar and the restaurant, and is always unlocked.

  • Additional Comments: Las Iguanas can be a fun and hip place to meet friends over food and drinks. Especially popular with the after work crowd for its 2 for 1 cocktail specials (including the fabulous and popular Brazilian drink, Caipirinha)

Las Iguanas can get busy in the evenings but is normally relaxed and chilled during the day. The cocktail special is available 12.00-19.30 Tuesday-Saturday and all day Sunday and Monday. The food is fresh - all the sauces, including the salsa and the peri-peri sauce, are made from scratch each morning. Check their website for food and drink menus as they change occasionally: www.iguanas.co.uk.
