  • Getting There / Parking: Al Duomo is situated in a small pedestrianised street next door to the Tourist Information Office and just a few metres from the entrance to the Royal Pavilion, very handy if you are sightseeing in that area. It is also very close to The Lanes and North Lanes shopping areas.

Pavilion Buildings is about 15 walk from Brighton Railway Station and very well served with buses. A taxi would take just a few minutes. There is also a major taxi rank over the road.

Parking in the area is very restricted. There are a few blue badge bays in the adjacent streets.

  • Getting In: Al Duomo is very deceptive from outside where there are about 12 tables with parasols available when the weather is fine. There are 2 entrances to the venue, both level.
  • Getting Around / Facilities: All of the furniture is free standing. There is a very attractive mezzanine level for eating, but unfortunately this is only accessible by stairs. The ground floor seating is very versatile offering a small (15-20 person) side room with a degree of privacy, to 2-8 person tables. The staff are happy to move tables around to accommodate more. It is hard to believe that the restaurant can cater for 250 covers at any one time!

There are ladies and gents toilets on the lower ground floor and a spacious left hand transfer accessible toilet on the ground floor which doubles up as a baby change facility. There is are disability pair up toilets on the ground floor.
    Both entrances have ramps.

  • Additional Comments: Menu - The menu is genuine Italian from pasta to pizzas and all varieties of meat, fish, cheese and veg. Or you can have a plate of chips! For those who order more than they can eat, 'doggy bags' are offered as a matter of course. There is a good wine list and a mouth watering selection of desserts. Customers are made to feel very welcome and large print menus are available on request. Assistance dogs are welcome.
