  • Opening Times: There are Sunday services every week at 11am followed by light refreshments.
  • Getting There / Parking: The church is in New Road in Brighton, which runs between North St. and Church St. and is mainly for pedestrians.
It is a 15 minute walk from the train station, mainly hilly. Many buses stop nearby in North Street.

There are disabled parking bays in New Road, very near the church, on the left of Pinocchio Restaurant. New Road looks like a pedestrian only road but you can drive along it to park. You enter from Church Street and must park in the marked area only (this does not look like usual parking spaces – you need to park over a metal wheelchair symbol sunk into the pavement) and leave via North Street. There are also some disabled bays round the corner at the bottom of Church Street. There is an NCP car park about half way up Church Street.

  • Getting In: The church has large steps, but there is a ramp down the left side which leads up to top of the steps, near the main entrance. This is only accessible when the church is open, at other times it is behind the railings. There are outer doors which will be open, and 2 sets of double doors inside. If these aren’t already fixed open you will need some help.
  • Getting Around / Facilities: Once beyond the doors, all is on one level. The hall and other facilities can be reached through another set of double doors. The hall has an entrance down the side of the church, past the ramp but it has steps, and the only access to the hall for wheelchair users is through the church.

    There is an accessible toilet.

    A loop system is available.

  • Additional Comments: The Unitarian Church is a nice space which is also used as a performance venue and for exhibitions.

The church and the hall are available for hire.
