Information on Direct Payments

Am I eligible for Direct Payments?

To find out if you are eligible, please phone Brighton Hove City Council’s Access Point on 01273 295555. An adviser will help you and arrange for a social worker to visit you and assess your needs to see if you are eligible for a Direct Payment. If you are, then a financial assessment will be made. After this the Fed can arrange a visit with you to finalise details if you would like our support and advice.

Direct Payment Users Peer Support Group

Brighton and Hove City Council and the Federation of Disabled People jointly facilitate a Peer Support group for people who are using direct payments (DP’s) or personal budgets (PB’s) to arrange their care and support.
