Get Involved Representation

The Get Involved project is frequently asked to attend meetings of public sector organisations (e.g. Council and NHS trusts) throughout the city. In order to meet these requests, the Get Involved Group (GIG) can nominate individuals to become Get Involved Representatives.

Representatives sit on meetings on behalf of the Get Involved Group and the Fed Centre for Independent Living, where they can share their own experiences as well as representing the views and opinions expressed by other GIG participants.  Representatives can receive training and support necessary for them to carry out their role.
